At KnowledgeBridge, we complement the role of your school counselors by preparing students early in their high school careers for the college admissions process. By connecting them with students from other schools, they learn how to build strong resumes, set up professional LinkedIn profiles, and start researching colleges before their first meeting with a counselor. By the time they meet with their counselors, they’ll be ahead of the curve and ready to focus on their applications rather than catching up.
How it works
We help bridge the gap between schools by connecting their most valuable resource—their students. In well-resourced schools, this is a chance for students to give back and develop leadership skills, while in under-resourced schools, it’s an opportunity to gain access to the knowledge and tools they might otherwise miss. Through this program, students from different backgrounds connect in meaningful ways that may not happen in their everyday lives.
Why it’s important
Counselors often have limited time to address each student’s needs, especially in schools with fewer resources. KnowledgeBridge fills that gap, helping students build confidence and develop skills early on. This means they can walk into their counselor’s office ready to focus on what matters most—applying to the right colleges and making their applications shine.
